Our Past, Present and Future
From cattle ranching roots to Quarter Horses — a journey that shaped our mission to unlock every horse's full potential through partnership, trust, and fearless growth.
As someone who comes from a family that has been in the beef cattle industry for the past 25 years, it wasn't until my late twenties I was exposed to Quarter Horses. This past gave me a good foundation in understanding cattle, their dispositions and how to handle them. My families first horse, a mare from Texas named Jesse, came from a young fella in Texas my parents met at the Cheyenne Frontier Days lounging outside a local restaurant.
As some say, horses teach people, then people teach horses; Jesse was the living truth to that statement. She taught me feel, cow sense, the ability to really press on the gas pedal, but also throttle down and take kids around the pasture. She uncovered a drive in me to teach horses, that no one would have guessed was there.
We believe that horses, like people, are all capable of reaching their fullest potential. To reach such potential, it often require them, as well as the rider, to leave their comfort zone and have faith their partner is looking out for them.
Our goal is to use this philosophy to provide quality, safe horses that can perform on demand at whatever discipline they're driven to pursue in life.
